About the Roles
We are expanding and seeking passionate, reliable Aviation Screening Officers to join our growing aviation security team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations through:
- Foot & Vehicle Patrols
- Gatehouse Access Control
- Control Room Operations
Flexible rosters are available (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols of terminal, perimeter, and airside/landside areas
- Control and monitor access points in line with airport security protocols and regulations
- Operate surveillance, alarm, and communication systems from the control room
- Perform ID and vehicle checks at gates and critical points• Respond to security incidents and escalate according to SOPs
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with airport stakeholders, law enforcement, and emergency services.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in aviation security or airport operations
- Strong understanding of airport security protocols and regulatory compliance
- High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage customer interactions calmly
- Ability to follow procedures under pressure in dynamic environments
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Qualifications
The following are required, or willingness to obtain:
- NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
- ASIC (preferred) or eligibility to obtain
- Cert II in Transport Security Protection (highly regarded)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control (or willing to obtain)
- Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence (for vehicle patrols)
- Control Room/CCTV certification (preferred for control room roles)
- Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.
