About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Loading Dock Security Guard to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. This role is suited to a highly motivated security professional who can maintain a safe and secure environment while providing strong site access control, monitoring, and incident response support. The position requires availability from Monday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
Site Access Control & Monitoring
- Monitor and control access to the loading dock and surrounding site areas
- Manage vehicle and pedestrian access in line with site procedures
- Liaise with staff, contractors, visitors, and delivery drivers in a professional manner
Patrols & Site Security
- Conduct routine patrols and security checks
- Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, hazards, or breaches
- Support workplace safety and compliance across the site
Incident Response & Reporting
- Assist with emergency response procedures when required
- Maintain accurate incident reports, logs, and shift records
- Escalate incidents and risks in accordance with site procedures
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NSW 1A Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Full unrestricted Driver Licence
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday
Desirable Requirements
Applicants who currently hold, or are willing to obtain, the following will be highly regarded:
- Forklift Licence
- White Card
- NSW RSA Card
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management
- Fire Warden
- First Attack Fire
- Working With Children Check
- Sharps Handling Certificate
