We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Manager to oversee daily security operations at the Sydney Fish Market, one of Sydney’s most iconic and vibrant precincts.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site, working closely with clients, tenants, and a dedicated on-site team to deliver a professional and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of security officers across the site.
- Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and crowd management.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, tenants, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and site-specific security procedures.
- Conduct incident reviews, prepare reports, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support recruitment, rostering, and performance management of security personnel.
- Provide high-quality security services in accordance with client requirements and internal standards.
- Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems.
- Collaborate with team members and management to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Security Licence (NSW 1A)
- Proven experience in a Security Supervisor or Manager role (3+ years preferred)
- Demonstrated customer service experience with a customer-centric approach
- Proven CCTV operational experience across a range of technical systems
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Reliability and punctuality
- Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Additional certifications (or willingness to obtain): White Card, Fire Warden, SEINS, Traffic Control, Working with Children Check.
