ACESGroup is seeking experienced, professional security officers to join our team, providing visible, proactive security at high-profile Sydney universities and public precincts.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe and welcoming environment, combining foot and vehicle patrols with first-response duties to ensure people, assets, and operations are protected.
This is an active, hands-on role, ideal for those who enjoy being on their feet and engaged across diverse sites, working a 24/7 rotating roster that includes days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and professional security presence at your assigned site
- Conduct proactive foot and vehicle patrols to protect people, assets, and property
- Monitor behaviour, enforce site regulations, and maintain a safe environment
- Respond to incidents as a first responder, escalating and reporting as required
- Manage access control, entry points, and maintain accurate security records.
Essential Criteria
- Security License (NSW 1A)
- Full NSW Drivers Licence
- First Aid and CPR (current)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)
- SEINS (or willing to obtain)
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates/cards (or willing to obtain)
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
- Customer service experience
- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work 24/7 rotating roster
- Ability to pass a LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
